Becoming a Learning System Online Course (Product Unavailable for Purchase)

In a learning system, all educators have the opportunity to engage in continuous improvement to effectively meet the needs of all students. Join practitioners Pat Roy and Parker McMullen as they lead you through this online course, exploring how to restructure a district or system’s procedures, process, and policies to create such learning environments. Participants who complete this course will be able to: 

·      Articulate a rationale for becoming a learning system;

·      Describe the fundamental knowledge and skills required to become a learning system, including the importance of building trust;

·      Describe the essential elements of a comprehensive professional learning system; and 

·      Reflect on next actions to align their system to the Standards for Professional Learning. 

The course offers five modules to help learners explore the content and topics. In each module, Roy and McMullen guide learners through videos, readings, tools, and opportunities for reflection help learners meet specific objectives. The course was designed for anytime, anywhere, self-paced learning. Learners will receive a certificate of completion when they fulfill the assessments and requirements of the entire course.
